Thomas M. Federman

Thomas M. Federman

Thomas M. Federman, Esquire, a principal in Hladik, Onorato & Federman, LLP, and has been in the residential mortgage default industry for most of his professional life. He began in the early-1980s, performing on-site property preservation. Following law school, Tom moved to Italy, where he worked for three years as an associate in the Rome office of the law firm of Dobson & Sinisi. Upon his return to the U.S., he joined Federman and Phelan, LLP, eventually becoming an equity partner. In 2007, Tom founded his own firm, Federman & Associates, LLC, which he recently merged with Hladik, Onorato & Federman, LLP.

Steven Horne

Steven Horne is an attorney admitted to the bar in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. He received his Juris Doctorate from George Washington University and Bachelor Degrees in Economics and English from Emory University. In the mortgage industry, Steven has been instrumental in the success of four hyper-growth companies. As founder of Wingspan Portfolio Advisors, he partnered with the top financial institutions in the U.S. and garnered many awards including multiple appearances on the Inc. 500, numerous technology awards, and Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist.

Previously, he was also a partner with Sherman Financial Group and its servicing affiliate Resurgent Capital Services. During his 9 years there, Sherman emerged as the largest purchaser of distressed assets in the world.

Danielle Boyle-Ebersole

Danielle Boyle-Ebersole

Danielle Boyle-Ebersole is an Associate Attorney at the Pennsylvania office of Hladik, Onorato & Federman, LLP, specializing in bankruptcy, creditors' rights litigation, and mortgage foreclosure law. Danielle brings 25 years of bankruptcy and default servicing experience to the firm. She has represented lenders and mortgage servicers in Chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 bankruptcy matters throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Michigan, and Maryland. Danielle has presented seminars at numerous Bankruptcy CLE conferences throughout Pennsylvania on a variety of bankruptcy issues from the creditor perspective.

Danielle is a member of the Middle District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Bar Association and is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, including all three Federal Bankruptcy Courts in Pennsylvania. Danielle is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Michigan, Western District of Michigan, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

Richard DePonte

Rick has dedicated the last 30+ years fighting for personal injury victims. Born in Framingham, Massachusetts, he was admitted to practice law in Arizona in 1987. In addition, he is admitted to the United States District Court, District of Arizona. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, New Hampshire in 1987. Prior to that Mr. DePonte graduated from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology (magna cum laude) in 1976 and received a Masters of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Arizona State University in 1980. Practice areas include personal injury, civil litigation, municipal law and criminal law.

Much of Rick's spare time involves community service. He has been active in Rotary International since 1992, serving as club secretary, past president and board member in various clubs. He is a board member for Wings for Warriors (2012 to present), Gift of Life (2012 to present), and the Ahwatukee YMCA (2011 to 2012). He was also an adjunct instructor at Phoenix College in the Paralegal Studies Department.

Jeffrey Rappaport is an attorney at the Laurel Springs, New Jersey office. He joined the HOF Law Group in 2024. Jeff earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Kean University in Union, New Jersey and his Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. Following law school, Jeff joined his brother Dave in private practice for over 20 years representing clients in the areas of personal injury, workers compensation, criminal law and real estate.
